Tom Dowling's review of Ireland in 2050 is here. Tom's interest is in local development, which the book touches on. I have some ideas around regional development I'm still trying to get straight in my head, and as always, the more smart people there are to correct my jibber-jabber, the better.
Hi Stephen, Thanks for your comments, I found your book a very interesting read. I am very interested on how we develop as a society, tendency during the boom years was to build housing first delivery on social amenities and infrastructure later. Stronger legislation to ensure we build inclusive societies, which should also ensure we design developments which will allow out ageing population to continue to live out their lives within the development. We also need more meaningful interaction between Local authorities and residents on how their area develops. Well done Stephen I really enjoyed the book.
