I'm Chuffed

Why? Because my first PhD student has defended his thesis successfully. Congrats to Dr Saed Khalil, I'm delighted for him and for his family. It's a big day for them all. Saed's thesis was on stock flow consistent macroeconomic modeling, and the external examiner was one of the fathers of the field, Prof. Marc Lavoie.

    What does chuffed mean? Sounds like a skin condition 🙂

    Ted, I would say that CHUFFED means very happy. Chuffed is more likely to be used in UK
