Above is a graph of the percentage change in Ireland's real GDP (not its GNP), calculated in less than 2 seconds, with no code, from the website below. I just asked for it, and it gave me this chart. Wonderful stuff, but it does put a fellow to thinking about hysteresis, just a bit.

I have been using Wolframalpha for a while to check bits of calculus & to graph functions. Its handy but I don't think there is any reason to feel threatened. Unless its run by the zombies.
